These two days are filled with exhibitions and demonstrations by hot glass and flame work artists from around the region.

About the Festival – New Dates for 2017: Memorial Day Weekend!


This year’s Festival will be held Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 27, & Sunday, May 28!  We invite dozens of hot glass artists who demonstrate glassblowing and flame working techniques throughout the weekend. We also open our expansive 2nd floor as a vendor area where you can see works from all our visiting artists and enjoy wine tasting by Barren Ridge Vineyards.

Special Activities during the Festival include

 Flaming Ray Gun

Fire-Breathing Dragon – Josh Ries from Art of Fire makes a fire-breathing dragon.

 

Flaming Ray Gun – Nate Avery of Suffolk builds a ray gun that shoots flames

 

Wine Tasting – Barren Ridge Vineyards offer tastings & sell wine by the glass.

Stone Carving – VA Stone Carvers Guild demonstrate their skill across the street.


 

 

Admission is FREE! We are handicapped accessible and have ample parking around our studio.
